Manuella

Manuella (°1988) took her first dance steps at the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp. At the age of 15 she continued her education at De!Kunsthumaniora Dans, where she discovered her passion for modern and contemporary dance. Afterwards, she completed her dance education at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. As a professional dancer she worked with various choreographers such as Randi Devlieghe, Jelena Kostic, Katia Pire, Natascha Pire, Jeniffer Regidor, Minhee Bervoets, Rebecca Tanghe, Isabelle Beernaert, Valentina Nigro, and Roy Julen. She also danced on famous stages like Brussels Expo and Sportpaleis Antwerp for the Special Olympics (2014) and on Tomorrowland’s Mainstage (2016 and 2018). In 2015, Manuella competed in So You Think You Can Dance, in which she finished in the top 4. She was also to be seen in the television shows Belgium’s Got Talent and Jonas en Van Geel, and in music videos from Stromae and Udo. Furthermore, she is a frequently asked jury member for international dance competitions such as Dance Stars and Dance Waves Competition. Since several years, Manuella is also a passionate dance teacher at various dance schools including Dansatelier Impuls Geel, Academie Lier, Academie Ranst, and Academie Boechout. In 2018 she obtained her dance teacher degree at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp.
